How is it that before you can begin to get a clue of what one year's about, another year's here? I clearly remember January 1st 2007 as though it were yesterday. Maybe the thing that makes the brevity of these years so painful is that you start out with big plans on new year's day, and before you can say "God help Bill O'Reilley!" another year is here! Then you have to make those plans over again if you weren't, as they say, diligent! Its like a hamster's wheel, it just doesn't stop rolling!

Let me know how many of your plans you implemented before last year wore out like an old garment.

Prayer Chain

The proliferation of the disease called cancer in this nation in recent years is simply novel; to put it mildly. Almost everyone in the good old USA knows someone with the disease. In my circle of influence, I have no less than two dearly beloved individuals battling the dreaded condition; a friend's husband, and a neighbor.
Some might argue that the food supply of this nation has been compromised by chemicals that trigger all forms of abnormal biological reactions in the general population. The environmentalists might attribute this to global warming. Others might declare it is the consequence of sin, you know, the wrath of God.
I say drop the argument and lets cry out to God to heal our sick friends. This is a prayer chain. We are starting off with Steve and Sharon. If you know anyone with a similar condition, or someone that might be standing in need of prayer at this time, please post their names. We would pray until this is over.

Selling on ebay

So many things in life aren't as easy as they seem. I tried pushing some items on Ebay about a week ago, and nothing sold! What's all the hype about "selling on ebay", "selling on ebay"? The only thing that came of that exercise was a whole bunch of selling fees. Someone even tried to scam me out of a camera worth close to a thousand Dollars! A Canon Rebel EOS XT 8 megapixels, SLR professional camera, for goodness sake!
Am I missing something here? My listings clearly stated that I would not ship any item outside of the USA, but lo and behold, then came this fella who won the camera with a last minute bid and some phoney shipping address somewhere in Ibadan, Nigeria. I had barely finished dancing that my item finally sold, when ebay contacted me that I was being scammed.
Well, that's my pain!
